Welcome to my website and blog! Thank you so much for being here. I am taking a leap of faith down this path where I feel God is guiding me to become a professional speaker and writer. I am slowly planting and watering seeds to start that process. I’d be honored if you keep me in your prayers during this journey.

As I tried to come up with headings for my speaking brochure and this site, the one that kept emerging in my mind was When the Message Matters. And I asked God to reveal to me why I needed that title. And He answered in the form of a question, one that He wants me to answer: “When does the Message, my Message, matter in people’s lives?”

Friends, His Message matters in our everyday lives! Yes, it matters in times of crisis, but it also matters as we go through the mundane and the mishaps of everyday life:
·        When our day doesn’t go as planned because something unexpected pops up, like a flat tire, broken air conditioner or a canceled meeting.

·        When our to-list never gets shorter and we’re completely overwhelmed.

·        When we’re cleaning up a messy child and the pile of food underneath the high chair after every meal.

·        When we’re on the verge of tears, locked in the bathroom because our children are making us crazy and frustrated.

God’s Word, His Message, applies to all of these situations and beyond! His truths ring true daily, we must look for Him in the daily grind of our busy lives. Jeremiah 29:13 says, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all of your heart.”
Here on my blog I’ll share with you ways that God reveals Himself to me in the midst of my busy (diaper-changing, preschool Mommy, wannabe-writer and speaker, needs to clean my house but doesn’t, Portico church staff member and wife to Will) life.
