We’re down to the wire, Christmas is just two days away!
I love giving gifts and if I could afford it, I’d buy each of you a gift because I cherish you so. Since I couldn’t buy you all something, I made something for you!
As you know, this year has been a difficult one for me. I’ve been reminded of what it truly means to trust God and live out what it means to have faith. Through this journey, I’ve relied on God’s Word and Christian music to encourage me. There is such power in the Bible and its words poured out through music!
I recently spoke to a MOPS group in Scottsdale about trusting God when hope seems lost. I created this printable with verses that have encouraged me, as well as the playlist of songs I’ve relied on to keep my mind fixed on the Lord and His promises. It’s my Christmas gift to you! (You can even wrap it and put it under your tree if you want to!)

I hope you’ll pull out this list when times are tough. We all go through challenging seasons, so print this out and tuck it away for when you need it. Please share it with your friends and family when they are going through tough times.
One of the many things I’ve learned this year is that God is constant when the world or our circumstances seem out of control. He is not surprised or shaken by what happens to us. He’s in control, working out His plans for our lives. Always.
Throughout teaching Seamless this fall, I was constantly reminded of God’s plans and purposes and how He’s been working since the beginning of time to communicate His love to us. I am so grateful we have His Word as a reminder of that!
I love Jesus’ words in Revelation 1:8 NLT:
“‘I am the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end,’ says the Lord God. ‘I am the One who is, who always was, and who is still to come—the Almighty One.’”
He never changes. He was, is and always will be Immanuel, God with us.
Doesn’t that make your heart just burst with gratitude and peace?
Can I pray for us today?
I thank You, Lord, that You take our worst—our anxiety, worries, burdens, sickness, fears, regrets, mistakes and sins—and give us Your best—Your Son, love, forgiveness, joy, peace, hope, salvation, strength, healing and power. You are so good to us, Lord! Thank You so much for Jesus, the ultimate gift!
Thank You for the gift of Your Word, to guide us, comfort us and remind us of Your love and Your plans for our time on earth. You designed each of us on purpose, for a purpose. May we live loved and rely on You always. Thank You that You do not change, that You are always with us and always will be! How we love you! Amen.
