Good Morning, Friends!
Are you excited about Christmas this year? I always am, but this year it snuck up on me very quickly with Thanksgiving so late in November. We got our nativity and our tree up last weekend, so it has started to feel more like Christmas in our house.
In case you’re still finishing up shopping (like me) I wrote an article for my church newsletter about money-saving Christmas ideas that you may find useful.
Use this link http://cornerstoneonline.com/women/, scroll down to where it says CS Women eNewsletters and click on December.
I pray that you slow down and take the time to enjoy the beauty of this season. It’s so easy to get wrapped up in the to-dos and running around this time of year.
Here’s one of my favorite verses, which always gives me a much-needed reminder of what Christmas is all about:
“This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.”
– 1 John 4:9-12
In fact, I think I’ll head over to my Christmas tree and reflect on that for a few before the hustle and bustle of the day begins.
Thanks for stopping by today!
