Processing With The Word

June 6, 2020 By Andrea Fortenberry

6 Jun

Over the past two weeks as I am processing the tragic death of George Floyd, discussions on racism, the violence erupting across the nation, politics, continuing issues from the pandemic, and the noise of social media, my soul has felt heavy. Current times in our country are complex.

It has made me thirsty for the Word in a new way, longing for both the Lord’s encouragement and direction on what I can do to shine God’s love while darkness wants to overwhelm us. I read these verses nd found them comforting and wanted to share them with you. May we reflect on them and allow them to give us peace. May they take root and change us so that we can live out faith and love in our broken world.

If you’d like downloadable 8.5 x 11 prints of these verses, just click below.
